PNC Bank to layoff 621 RBC employees in North Carolina
PNC Financial Services Group Inc. is laying off up to 621 people in North Carolina when it completes its acquisition of Raleigh-based RBC Bank USA, according to the Triangle Business Journal, a sister paper of the Pittsburgh Business Times. The Pittsburgh-based bank issued a WARN notice notifying the North Carolina Commerce Department of the layoffs, which will occur effective March 16. The layoffs will occur at RBC facilities in Wake County and Rocky Mount. |
