GM has been unsuccessful in finding a strong buyer for its Saab brand and has repeatedly said it would close the brand if a buyer cannot be found.

Saab could face a similar fate to GM’s Pontiac and Saturn brands the carmaker said that several proposals have been offered for Saab and GM is “continuing to evaluate these proposals.”
