Ford will close their manufacturing plant in St. Thomas Canada in 2011.

Bob Hammersley, president of the St. Thomas Chamber of Commerce, says the closure touches the community at every level.

As many as 9,000 spinoff jobs will be lost above and beyond the 1,400 workers directly employed by the plant, which will close in 2011.
