In a new set of rules handed down by Homeland Security and President Obama there will be more restrictions on when local law enforcement can apprehend and deport illegal aliens.

Only those Illegal Aliens found guilty of Murder or High Level Drug Trafficking will be on the list of those that are allowed to be prosecuted held and then deported.

And from the report of the new rules it seems that illegal aliens that commit lesser offenses such as Theft, burglary grand theft auto, and a variety of lesser offenses will be overlooked.

So it seems its open field day….

ICE Assistant Secretary John Morton announced today that 11 new localities have signed up under the new rules. Another 66 agencies now receiving federal funding will have 90 days to accept the new terms or be dropped.

Between 2006 and 2008, state and local agencies received $60 million under the program, getting credit for identifying 120,000 suspected illegal immigrants.
