Bridges to Access, GlaxoSmithKline’s patient assistance program for non-oncology medicines, provides GSK prescription medicines to eligible low-income patients without prescription drug benefits.
GlaxoSmithKline patient assistance programs provided medicines valued at almost $388 million (Wholesale Acquisition Cost) to more than 484,000 patients during 2007.
You will need to submit an application form which can also be done the same day by telephone.
It is important that you inform yourself and your doctor about the availability of these discounts when you are in a position to need them because your doctor can often change your perscription to a similar medicine that falls under these programs with no changes in your treatment.
