A group of highly skilled Medical equipment technicians were lead to the doors by security at the Genesys Medical Center in Flint Michigan this week after being told that their jobs would be outsourced to TriMedx, a national provider of clinical engineering programs.
The Hospital system is hoping to save about $280,000 this year by using an outside company.
Teamsters Union Representatives for the hospital workers said that they were not told or negotiated with about the deal. Which makes everyone wonder what good is there in paying dues to a Union that does nothing to save their members jobs.
