Cape Cod Job Fair - Hiring Locals is a Responce to H2B Visa Shortage

It  seems that employers that use to rely on cheap labor to fill seasonal and full time jobs in their hospitality business in Cape Cod are running into a little problem this year since  most of them have over used their Federal H2B Visas and can’t just import people from outside the country this year.

Cape Cod has responded by actually seeking qualified people from the local and surround community however as you can expect the prices they are willing to pay for labor are still not what you might find else where.

If you live in the area and need work visit www.capejobs.com/jobfair

You can expect to find jobs paying about $10 an hour and car shuttle service is available for some employees.

JobZoneUSA is a little cynical when it comes to businesses that feel that their local community should not join their workforce first and look outside the country to save a couple dollars an hour.

Jobs are about more then money for a lot of people. And giving the opportunity for someone to earn  self respect and a feeling of being needed goes a long way to improving your community.

Maybe Next Year Cape Cod businesses will look to their community first before wining about not being able to get visas. After all giving someone a job means they can also buy your services.
