Career Education on of the largest post secondary education businesses with over 95,000 students in the USA and Europe will be losing its Chairman due to cutbacks in Federal Student Loan programs.

Robert E. Dowdell is said to be stepping down after 15 months and the company will be adding two new members to its board.

Career Education specializes in trade education under a number of institutional names: Sanford-Brown, Katharine Gibbs School,Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Texas Culinary Academy, American InterContinental University are just a few.
