Siemens AG has decided to restructure its eastern european operations with plans to combine it’t Austria, Hungary, Romania and the Czech Republic into a new european group.

The restructuring is expected to see a loss of 3800 jobs and an additional 3,000 that will be outsourced.

Germany and their USA divisions are expected to stay as individual operations with no specific detals about cutbacks in these locations.
