Recent ground breaking on Dell’s Ottawa office will go uncompleted for now after the company has lost its #1 spot as the worlds largest personal computer maker to the ever hurting Hewlett-Packard.
In an announcement last May that Dell will cut 10% of its world workforce or aproximately 8,800 jobs immediate effects can be seen both inside and outside the United States.
Dell’s new 150,000 square foot Ottawa Office was to house 500 employees and eventually house 1,500 Telemarketers by the end of the first quarter of 2008.
