JobZoneUsa’s Government resource directory is meant to be a guide to Educational, Direct Employment and Contracting Opportunities for individuals and businesses.
The United States Government Federal, State and Local, through direct employment and contracts is worlds largest employer.
The diverse opportunities range the whole job market spectrum. If there is a job title in the private sector you can bet that someone is performing the same exact task in our government.
For example did you know that the Federal Government Hires Real Estate Lawyers? Well they do because they are the largest land owner. They also hire Engineers, Architects, Doctors, Nurses, Preschool Teachers for daycare centers, Cooks, Security Guards, Truck Drivers, Life Guards for pools and beaches and more skilled and unskilled trades then can be imagined.
At our State and Local levels our government hires many of the same job titles for work in different situations. They also hire the highest number of Educators both at the College and K-12 grades and with that comes all of the support services needed to run our colleges and schools. Security Guards, Ground People, Drivers, Cooks, Technology Services, Accounting and the list goes on.
Without even thinking about it most of us just overlook that the largest employer in our area is our Government. And even if you don’t want to take a Government Job there is opportunity for Contract Services.
Government contracts can be a huge as building our nations roads or it can be as small as delivering a few boxes of muffins and coffee to an office every morning.
Without a doubt Our Government is a resource for all areas of our life and it is something we need to put to good use.
Your Federal, State and Local Government Offices have a wealth of information and help that they can provide you for free or at very low costs.
If you are looking for a job there are many opportunities directly within the Government but if you are in need of counseling or educational help there are programs for everyone.
Most Community and State Colleges will offer a GED and Literacy Program to help you get started.
Some States offer free tuition for people that have been looking for a job for about a year.
Each State places different requirements on citizens to join the programs they offer and for that reason it is always best if you meet or call your local office and ask if there are any related programs that may help.
